Laughlin, Nevada, which lies 90 miles Southeast of Las Vegas along the Colorado River near the Arizona border, has managed to maintain its small-town atmosphere while offering nonstop gaming action, fine dining, live entertainment, outdoor recreation, golf courses, outlet shopping and meeting facilities.
The city is named after Don Laughlin, a pioneer hotelier/investor who purchased a boarded-up motel on the riverbank in 1966.
