A program of the Nevada Test Site Historical Foundation, the 8,000-square-foot Atomic Testing Museum traces the role the state played in the development of the United States’ atomic energy program at the Nevada Test Site. View a wealth of artifacts in the exhibition hall, which features a number of fascinating rotating exhibits. A museum store is on the premises.
Museum hours are 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 PM Sunday. The Atomic Testing Museum is located on the first floor of the Desert Research Institute’s Frank H.
