The 520-acre Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is located about 20 miles West of Las Vegas at the base of Red Rock Canyon. Facilities at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park include a visitor center, picnic areas and historic sites. The actual ranch was once owned by reclusive billionaire Howard Hughes. Guided tours are available.
In addition, outdoor concerts are scheduled on the grounds of the Spring Mountain Ranch State Park throughout the year.
